Hello Bento People! I am sure you like a nice lunch. What is better than pork and rice with a side of KimChee? Well, I'm sure you will say "Nothing!"

Salmon and Dumplings Bento

Leftover take-out from my fave Japanese restaurant makes a bento lunch at my job. Teriyaki salmon with shrimp dumplings and little sauce on the side.

It's funny how happy work can be when lunchtime looks like this!

Chicken Fried Pork Bento

Getting on the bento train. Woooo woot! Here's my Tuesday bento - Chicken-Fried Pork - panko crust, radishes, mustard, and cubes of rice  with a sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds and watercress garnish.

All in my indigo rabbit box and eaten at the historic stage stop, Rios Caledonia Adobe in 100 degree heat.

The Sum is Greater Than The Parts Bento

Indigo rabbit bento box is so sweet and could brighten any cold foggy day. All those happy bunnies coming to work with me.

Inside we have teri chicken with strawberries and blueberries, and we have kimchee in its own little container. Love the chunky pieces!

Still doing salads. So fun to eat with chopsticks too. My chopstick skillz are improving! Rah!

How about you? Do you eat with chopsticks?

Be Couscous Bento

The Mister likes to roast Cornish Game Hens, and we always make too much couscous. This makes a good leftover bento. In addition, we had a ton of baby red potatoes, so I made an German-style potato salad with sliced dill pickles. Apples and berries square out the new indigo rabbit bento box with cloth bag.
