Pretty Pink Paris Bento

This bento was from last week and it has much of the same components as previous and future bentos. Such is life.

That is when the role of the bento box itself is important. It's makes the similar seem more fun.

It also helps to have friendly little sauce bottles to greet you at lunchtime.

You Put Your Lime in Your Apple Slices Bento

Roasted pork slices hidden behind leafy greens, tomatoes, apple slices and lime slices, and rice make up this bento. Rolly-polly panda has nama shoyu, and the rice is sprinkled with shiso powder.

Major cute factor registering here. Mouse on cat's back is getting a good massage with happy cat purrs. Mouse in front could be saying any of a number of smart aleck things.

One thing for sure is Mio is asking (yelling) for food, and this snack pack delivers. Kimchee, sauerkraut, and homemade chia seed crackers.

Olive Me Bento

For this week I took a lovely pork sandwich to work, yet I felt compelled to bring more food - perhaps a few sides. Hence, this polar bear bento box called out to me. It's time to freeze at work, so we might as well have a smile with Syrupy O'Clock.

The little pink bear (apparently with tummy problems) pleads, "Why not take Olive Me?"
