My First Blogoversary

This four-square box is a Lock-n-Lock which to me sounds an awful lot like lock and load but no matter.

No those are not black olives.

I made these cute little meat pie purses filled with cooked chicken and mashed potatoes. They work really well in lunches. They can be eaten warm or cold in just a couple of bites. Super yummy!

Yes they are black grapes supposedly seedless, but they do have something hard inside that I have to spit out.

Watercress with baby carrots (true baby carrots) and Juliet tomatoes from my garden.

Cottage cheese, that I tend to eat immediately when I get to work.

An Asian pear - lordy I love Asian pears!

  1. Happy Anniversary to your blog!
When I was living in Australia, they called this Asian pear as Nashi pear. Very sweet!

  2. Happy blogaversary! A very clearly tasty and satisfying bento to celebrate. Love the meat purses idea. My kids love cottage cheese too!

  3. Happy blogaversary!! You keep postin' and I'll keep readin'. :)

I love Asian pears too! Cute little baby carrots - I have some from my mom's garden. The fresh little baby ones are so sweet!

  4. Happy blogaversary!! Wishing you many more to come! The meat and potato pies sound great. Don't you hate it when you get seeds in something seedless?

  5. Happy Blogaversary! I have a Lock&Lock too, but without the dividers. I like yours! "Lock and load.." haha.. I'm going to think that everytime now. :)

  6. Rock on !!! Happy Blogaversary!!!

  7. Happy Blogaversary Judy!
